34th Annual OB/GYN Ultrasound Update for Clinical Practice

Hollywood Beach Marriott, Hollywood, Florida

December 4 – 7, 2025

Sponsored by the Kenneth Gottesfeld – Charles Hohler Memorial Foundation

This year’s meeting is in honor of John Hobbins, M.D., a pioneer in OB/GYN ultrasound and a founder of the Gottesfeld-Hohler Memorial Foundation. John was one of the first to recognize the value of obstetrical ultrasound in clinical practice. During his time at Yale and then at University of Colorado he led teams that gave us essentials of fetal biometry, explained a broad range of fetal anomalies, and introduced fetal blood sampling to name a few groundbreaking achievements.

To honor him we have invited a group of his most illustrious trainees, all now internationally known for their work, to be our speakers on the first two days of the conference.

John is still at it, conducting research at University of Colorado in improving our understanding of fetal growth restriction. That is when he’s not playing piano or tennis in Key West.
